We were recently assisting a customer to get started with their google adwords campaign and they questioned why the keywords we had suggested contained brackets and quotes. Here's an explanation of what they do and how they affect your listings.

Many years ago sprites where created by games developers to reduce the need for loading bitmaps in and out of memory. The concept is quite simple, as an example, if you had a small character bitmap with 4 different facial expressions, each expression would require a seperate image. To alternate between the expressions the 4 different images would need loading into memory and then swapping.
